Raised in Dallas, Texas, from an early age Corey Chapman was introduced to beautiful structures and art in the DFW area such as the Kimbell Art Museum and grand homes of Highland Park. Always having an affinity for beautiful materials, design and architecture, Corey decided to study architecture and received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University with honors. As he always felt drawn to cities and their vibrant complexities, which led him to attend the prestigious Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where he received his Master of Architecture. Loving his new location where the city continually provides a source of inspiration, he set to make it home and start his career. Specializing in hospitality design, Corey has played a major role in many notable projects such as the Virgin Hotel Nashville, Virgin Hotel New York, Hilton Canopy brand development and design (multiple locations), Hotel Van Zandt Austin, The Commoner Restaurant Pittsburgh, Beerhaus at the Park Las Vegas, W Hotel Chicago, Light nightclub Las Vegas, Marquee nightclub New York, Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas and many more. Before founding C SQD Collective, Corey worked as a Design Director and Studio Director the highly regarded studios of AvroKO, Mark Zeff, Frampton Co, Josh Held Design and Space Matrix in Singapore.
